This Privacy Policy describes how Americas Plan B ("we," "our," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Discover Panama experience and this website. By using our website or reserving a place on the experience, you consent to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

• Reservation information: full legal name as it appears on your passport, email address, mobile phone number, billing address, room arrangement preference, and (for two-guest reservations) the same information for the second guest.
• Pre-trip information: emergency contact name and phone number, dietary restrictions, accessibility requirements, and other logistical preferences you provide through the pre-trip form.
• Payment information: payment card or bank account details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see, store, transfer, or receive card numbers, CVV codes, bank account numbers, or routing numbers. Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Experience-related information: during the experience, if you voluntarily express interest in a developer property, in the Academy opportunity, or in any other follow-up matter, we may record that interest to facilitate the introduction. We do not collect financial-qualification information from you unless you choose to share it with us or directly with the developer or issuer.
• Website usage information: essential cookies required for the booking flow and standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested page) retained for security and troubleshooting purposes.

2. How we use information

• To process and confirm your reservation, including coordination with our Panamanian partner tour operator.
• To send you reservation confirmations, pre-trip communications, itinerary updates, and post-trip follow-up related to the experience.
• To facilitate hosted introductions during the experience and, if you have expressed interest, to connect you with the relevant developer, the Academy organizers, or other third parties after the experience.
• To meet our tax, accounting, legal, regulatory, anti-money-laundering, and recordkeeping obligations.
• To improve our website, our communications, and our experience.
• To defend our legal rights and respond to lawful requests from governmental authorities.

3. Information we share

We share your information only as described in this Policy. We do not sell your information. We do not share your information with marketing third parties.

• Panamanian partner tour operator: name, passport-exact name, hotel preference, dietary needs, accessibility needs, and emergency contact, shared only as needed to operate your reservation.
• Stripe (payment processor): handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
• Resend (email delivery provider): handles outbound transactional emails on our behalf.
• Vercel (hosting provider): hosts our website and processes standard server logs.
• Neon (database provider): stores reservation records under our control.
• Zoho Mail: processes inbound email sent to our address.
• Developers, the Academy, or other introduced third parties: shared only with your prior consent, and only if you have expressed interest in a follow-up with that third party. We do not forward your personal information to any developer or to the Academy without your consent.
• Legal and regulatory disclosures: we may disclose information as required by valid legal process, court order, or governmental authority with jurisdiction over us.
• Business transfer: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the receiving party's commitment to honor this Policy.

4. International data transfers

Operating this experience requires sharing some of your information with our Panamanian partner tour operator and may require transferring your data to service providers located outside the United States. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate contractual protections with the receiving party.

5. How long we keep information

Reservation and transaction records are retained for at least seven (7) years for tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory purposes. Pre-trip information is retained for the duration of the experience and for a reasonable period thereafter for operational and support purposes. Marketing-list contact information is retained until you unsubscribe. Payment data is retained by Stripe under Stripe's policies; we do not independently retain payment data.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, including transport-layer encryption (HTTPS) for all website traffic, access controls on our database, and segregation of payment data to our payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to request deletion of your information. Deletion requests are subject to our legal and recordkeeping obligations (for example, tax records we are required to retain). Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (for example, California Consumer Privacy Act rights for California residents). 8. Children

The Discover Panama experience is intended for adult travelers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Cookies and tracking

This site uses only essential cookies required for the booking flow. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies on this site.

10. Marketing communications

If you have given us your email address, we may use it to send you information about future departures or related offerings. You may opt out at any time by replying to any such email with "unsubscribe" or by emailing us. Transactional communications related to your reservation are not optional and will continue to be sent as needed to operate your reservation.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time you made your reservation governs that reservation, except that updates required by law apply as of their effective date. The current version is always posted on this page with its "Last updated" date.
